The ST Classic set is designed around the vintage tone, not leaning toward the thick humbucker tone. The neck has staggered pole pieces under the chrome cover for string balance and has a full bottom with snap. Alnico 5 magnets provide more dynamics and the pickup is wound for a hum canceling when combined with the bridge. The bridge is responsive to pick attack (the Alnico 5 magnets help with this) and is bright, biting, and has the classic twang.

Humbucker - The V2 is available as open coil, chrome or gold covered. Designed around a '59 pickup the V2 has a bit more bite in the upper mid, a big low end, high output and a very good percussive attack, which we feel is often overlooked, so you can get a good "pop" by picking style when you want it. The V2 can lay back with soft picking without losing its high end and does not go dead with the tone control rolled back giving you a good array of useful tones. Moving to the Dynasty will give you a bit smoother response pickup. The Dynasty Humbucker, available in chrome or gold covered, is a PAF style pickup with fairly high output in the bridge and a matching neck pickup. The Dynasty is made just a bit different than traditional pickups which allowed us to improve string definition and keep a wide frequency response. An excellent, top end, smooth pickup. The Dynasty is made in our facilities and is the result of many, many hours of testing and tweaking. It is high end pickup worthy of the finest guitars.

Single Coil - The V2's have a classic chime, jangle, and high end of a vintage pickup with an increased fullness and low end. The V2's deliver an excellent bluesy tone and the shimmering highs players love with a bigness to the sound. As an SSS set of complimenting the humbucker is the HSS the V2 singles are geared toward the classic, vintage single coil sound.

The Siren is another of our latest new designs made in our USA plant. The Siren is geared toward the high gain player. It is more than just a cut through the mix pickup. Our exclusive core design gives the Siren a unique blend of punch and clarity. At high gain it keeps its dynamic integrity so you can cut through without losing expression. The Siren does not have adjustable pole pieces and is available in chrome and gold covered only.

The Peerless 90. The Peerless 90 is a soapbar lover's dream come true, dishing out sweet vintage tone all night every night! We use the same traditional architecture as other "boutique" pickup manufacturers, with a couple key improvements. First, we scatter wind the bobbin in a parallel pattern, leaving the wire top heavy on one end, and bottom heavy on the other. This adds subtle highs and lows not normally found in traditional soapbar style pickups without sacrificing the classic tone you're looking for. Secondly, we custom make our base plates out of brass. The sonic qualities of brass are superior to other materials used in pickup manufacturing. We noticed improvements, specifically in sustain when we began machining our frames out of brass. There are plenty of soapbar options out there, but nothing matches the Peerless...... .

The EMG 81/85 is an active (battery required) low impedance pickup. The EMG's have a well known and well respected unique sound that certainly has a niche in the rock market. The 81/85 set is one of their most desired sets and sounds great in our guitars.

USM Soapbar - This is a passive alnico magnet design that has a full, big sound. An excellent all around pickup that has plenty of brightness for slap, plenty of low end and a good strong mid. We chose this pickup because it sounds great as a passive set up or with active electronics. And this soapbar is the same size as some EMG pickups, and some others, which gives you options down the road. Definitely a pickup we recommend.

USM Pro Soapbar - Similar to our regular soapbar this is another design we worked on with Kent Armstrong. This is an excellent passive full response pickup that exhibits deep, strong, low end properties with extended high end, brightness, mid presence, and excellent punch. One of the great properties players like is the percussive pop it delivers. This pickup sounds great as a simple passive pickup or in any of our active circuits. This pickup certainly deserves a 5 star rating.
