"Not
many guitars actually live up to the proud statements boasted by thier
makers, but I would have to say that U.S. Masters delivers their promise
to guitar players 100%. I personally own a new EP Twin and still can't
get over the tone this guitar produces. Tight, punchy, bottom end, and
unequaled clarity are the essentials for drop tuned modern alternative
rock and the new EP Twin, in my opinion, is the quintessential modern
rock guitar of choice. Equipped with Sperzel locking tuners, Ive never
stayed in tune better or been able to change strings this fast. The
neck is flawless...intonation perfect... and the pickups provide extremely
quick response need for our style of music.
The
real eye opener is when you play this guitar for about a month solid
and then pick up your old axe, just for giggles. Immediately you realize
the drastic improvement the EP has made in your tone and playablility.
Chances are your packup guitar will develop rust and corrosion from
lack of attention (mine did). I've actually been having guitar players
and sound engineers confront me after shows to brag on my tone. That's
never happened before!

lead singer/songwriter/guitarist for Split Nixon.
After many years of struggle, and unsuccessful attempts at creating
a band with the right chemistry and sonic landscape, living the dream
of this musical brotherhood to its fruition seemed unattainable. More
than one painter on a single canvas was something that just wasn't humanly
possible... but somehow four dedicated, aspiring artists form Huntington,
West Virginia assembled the right combination, trusted one another's
vision and collectively self produced one of the best independent rock
albums available today.
Split
Nixon offers no oversized tattoos, piercings or additions, just a strong
commitment to making the best albums possible. Thier debut effort has
been described by"TAXI- The A&R Industry Leader" as having
"contagious melodies, solid playing, and an overall magical quality
to the performance. Most listeners will tell you, "this is a radio
ready album that can be played from one to ten, without skipping around
the disc" and everyone has a different favorite. The two of the
band's best tunes have been featured on GarageBand.com and met with
great reviews. Track #2 - Momma, I Tried, landed at #17 out of several
thousand songs listed on the site, and track #3 - In My Head, was once
featured as "Song of the Day" and posted on thier home page
for worldwide viewers.
In short, this band is a musical workhorse with a "getit done,
whatever it takes" approach. Great songs, great idividual attitudes,
and strong work ethics is what makes this small town band stand above
the crowd.Visit
