EMG 81/85 Pickups - The 81 is a favorite of EMG's, "the one that started a revolution." With powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the tone is endowed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain - Bridge Position. The 85 is slightly more sophisticated and well rounded half of its famous twin, the 81. Featuring close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, the 85 is a powerful pickup with exceptional tone and versatility.

Maple Neck - It's stronger than mahogany, sounds better, and feels very good. It's rock solid and feels "broken in", like you've been playing it for years.

Interlocking Neck Joint - The neck isn't just glued in. This is a special neck joint developed by U.S. Masters to provide the best possible mechanical coupling between neck and body. It improves strength, structural integrity and sound quality.
