Not only are these crafted to the highest level, we incorporate player features that insure a high degree of feel, comfort, and response. The precision in which they are made, the quality of woods and components, allow the guitars to excel, even under the stringent test of the finest studios. We don't consider set-necks to be "better" guitars, just two different designs, both with their advantages. However, we did want to improve upon the standard bolt-on design to improve the mating of the neck to the body and do away with neck shift. In doing this we created a simple, patented, "pocketing" that does not allow the neck to shift. This design also reduced the heel size which allows for better upper fret access. Further, the design incorporates an increased compression of the neck to the body improving resonance, sustain, and attack. The guitar is very lively - very responsive - with well defined notes & chords and zero neck-shift. The note can be felt resonating through the body.

A more expensive feature, but well worth it, is the conical radius fingerboard. A heavy radius fingerboard is known for its comfort, feel and ease of chord work near the nut. However, to keep the notes clean, especially on bends, it requires a higher action as you move up the fretboard. A flatter radius, on the other hand is known for less comfort near the nut, but more comfort, cleaner notes and bends for upper neck lead playing, while allowing the action to be kept lower. The conical radius gives you the advantages of both - reduced hand tension and comfort while allowing for a lower, cleaner, more consistent action along the entire neck.

The neck also features a "wood" feel by use of a special oil treatment.
This seals the wood and fingerboard and does not soften and get sticky
under heat or friction like conventional finishes.

The necks and bodies are crafted with tight tolerances to insure excellent
intonation and a high level of consistency from one guitar to another.

No string trees to snag the string, straight thru the nut string design, solid
construction and excellent tuning machines means the guitar will stay in tune.
