Cool doesn't mean it can't be a great sounding, superbly made guitar. It is cool on stage or in studio, but beyond cool it is technically excellent from intonation to internal construction. Crafted with our MapleCore neck, you'll notice the feel is more responsive and sounds real lively. Our heel is small and sleek, and allows great upper fret access. The MapleCore also strengthens the headstock to reduce deflection and improve tuning stability. Further the guitar is very responsive to various picking techniques with excellent note definition. It can lay back but when you want attack and high end response it thrives.

The neck is a medium thickness C shape with a bound fingerboard. What do we mean by a medium thickness neck? Some players crave a big thick neck, ours is not big and thick. Some players like a thin flat back neck, typically considered a, "shred neck". Ours is not this, it's in between and seems to melt into the hands of good players prompting many compliments - it has a sleek, fast feel. The Blackhawk can be had with a fixed bridge or a Floyd Rose tremolo. An American made guitar for accomplished players - at a great price.
