"I had never heard of U.S. Masters until 2007, I was teaching
guitar classes at a small music store in Tupelo, MS. I pulled it
down from the wall, put it in my hands, and was instantly sold on
it....first on it's playabilty. The neck on this guitar may be the
finest one I have ever put my hands on. The pickups are outstanding
as well, with amazing versatility...they have an exceptional unique
voice that help set this guitar apart from other boutiques. At the
time, I didn't have the extra cash laying around to buy it, so I
traded my $3,000 acoustic guitar for it, even! I've let a lot of
guitars go through the years, but my U.S. Masters is a keeper. I
especially appreciate the fact that the folks at U.S. Masters build
a fine, quality instrument that holds it's own among the boutiques,
and at a much more fair price for the working musician."

When
I put my hands on the LeGrand I eventually purchased I was instantly
and irreversibly inspired to begin playing guitar again after
a seven year hiatus (Ive only played bass during this time).
Each time I picked up my Strat or any other guitar over the years,
Id play for a few minutes ending with boredom and sore tendons.
I play my US Masters Legrand every day for hours, always satisfied
and never fatigued.

Right
out of the box we plugged it into my Matchless and started recording.
The tone was killer. Beefy lows and searing high end and tons
of tone combinations with the push pull pots. The neck played
great right up to the body, a tribute to the smooth neck joint.
Everyone was really impressed. I have produced a lot of great
guitar players including Jimmy Olander, Ray Kennedy, Steve Wariner,
Lee Roy Parnell, Brent Mason and Keith Urban. Consequently I have
also listened to a lot of great guitars. My U.S. Masters holds
its own with any instrument I have recorded in my 20 years of
doing sessions.

I
just wanted to say that U.S. Masters is the best guitar since
Paul Reed Smith. I have been playing PRSs for quite a while
and wanted to tell you that your guitars are just as good, if
not better, for less money. Keep up the good work. Im a
customer for life.

"I
just wanted to tell you what a true blessing this instrument is!
>From the moment I pulled it out of the box, it has been a
source of true inspiration, both on recordings, and on the road!
For a pro who is so often on the road, the fine attention to detail
you put in creates a consistent, stable environment with regards
to tuning and intonation. It is such a comfortable instrument
with a dream of a neck which allows me to play for hours without
any fatigue. The LeGrand has a particularly easy access to it's
upper register, way more so than any other guitar I've ever played!
The looks of this guitar is very distinguishable, while paying
homage to a true classic vibe. Last but certainly not least, the
sound emitting from this baby is second to none; with warm, punchy
lows to jangly, sparkling mid-range and highs!! US Masters took
a well known design, and truly brought it to the next galaxy!!
Thanks a million guys!!"

I
was looking for high quality at the best price I could find. I
pawed about 30 strats before deciding that I would be better sinking
the money into the guitar and not the name on the headstock. I
got what I was looking for. The quality to price ratio is impressive.

Ive
been a professional musician for several decades now and have
owned dozens of guitars. Among those have been an early 50s
Gibson Super 400, late 50s strat, late 50s Les Paul,
335s, Guild Starfires Epiphone Zephyr Regent, Ibanez George
Benson, and many, many more; lots of arch tops and lots of semi
and solid bodies. Currently I have several strats and teles and
my main guitar has been a Tom Anderson Drop Top. The US Masters
rep is a friend and loaned me a Versatek to see what I thought.
I took it to my next gig. Broke a string on the Anderson in the
first set. Picked up the Versatek. My first reaction was how different
the neck felt. It felt good but different. Guitar players can
be a bit conservative and tend to shy away from things that feel
different. Probably why so many vintage instruments are so prized.
Anyway, I didnt have any choice. After 30 minutes playing
this guitar I ended up playing it the rest of the night. I used
it on my next recording session; in fact Ive been playing
it exclusively ever since. From the locking tuners to the captive
neck joint, U.S. Masters have taken a traditional design and improved
it every step of the way. Look at the features on their brochure
and then check out one of their guitars. There is no bull, just
the facts. When they say their knobs work better, they do!. When
they say their tone pot gives you more usable sounds, it does!
Lots of little things add up to big things. When I pick up a U.S.
Masters guitar I am struck with how SOLID it feels. Its
like comparing a BMW to a Rambler. But the biggy is the NECK!
What a great neck! I can play things on this neck I cant
play on other guitars. I was able to go to a thicker gauge of
strings with no fatigue. It improved my tone and my alternate
picking . Try some sweep picking. There is something about the
neck width that allows sweeping to be more positive. The shape
of the neck allows your hand to stay in a better technical position
up and down the neck. It translates to less fatigue and more chops.
This is the best neck I have ever played on any guitar PERIOD!
If all they did was make necks I would be replacing the necks
on all my guitars. These instruments are in the PRS Tom
Anderson realm and are much more affordable. You know Im
not sure why, cause frankly, these are better guitars!"

I've
played just about all the high basses made and I can't put yours
down. The neck is fluid. The balance is perfect. The TONE..........!
I particularly enjoyed the process of designing a bass with Dave.
He knows his craft and it shows in all of the basses. You can't
go wrong with one of these. The EP52 Fretless is unbelievable
when recorded. Nothing sounds like it. Great work guys. YOU DA

"At
first glance, one might dismiss the Vector Versatek as just another
fancy, albeit handsome, Strat clone. That would be a pity, since
this guitar packs an uncommon number of innovations and quality
components into its relatively traditional form. Our
models dual humbuckers were refreshingly clear, without
the faintest hint of squawk that often plagues humbuckers.
With a list price of $2,399, the (Vector) Versatek compares
favorably with guitars that cost up to $500 more. Players seeking
a clear-voiced and meticulously well-built guitar will find the
U.S. Masters a masterful alternative.

"I
love this guitar. The intonation of this guitar is amazing to
say the least. Any guitar player would love this axe. There are
still many tone variations that I've yet to explore but I love
the punch and control (clever indeed) and all the tones are warm
and even. This guitar "sings" very well. Thanks, guys and gals,
for the excellent craftsmanship and attention to every detail
made right here in the good old USA."

My
name is John Coyle and I think I might have bought the most U.S.
Masters guitars as a personal musician and collector. My friend,
Trey Ziegler, and me bumped into our first shared purchase when
he was at a store out west and played a one-off silver sparkle
Vector. It was instantly bought by me and set a new bar for everything
past and to come. A player of fine PRS, Gibson, Fender, Parker,
Ernie Ball, and Godin guitars
I kept coming back to the
U.S. Masters for good reasons. The necks are consistently awesome
and you can actually USE the tone knob. I have not bought an Avada
yet, but I imagine the same holds true and for the first time
I would have a Les Paul styled guitar with functioning controls.
They are so functional that my latest USM, custom ordered and
designed by Dick Regenburg, and myself has only 1 humbucker in
a Super-T body with strat positioned knobs and a point classic
trem! Just dial back on the tone control and you have basically
your phantom neck pickup. These guitars are just awesome like
that. And if you think the guitar is awesome, wait till you wake-up
to the savings and if you ever have to experience customer service,
the people at U.S. Masters are very serious about your happiness.
I live on the East Coast where U.S. Masters guitars are not often
seen and to put it in the words of Rudy Pensa of both Rudys
Music and Pensa guitars: You got this
guitar for nothing! Again they are great deals and when
in the hands of a beginner or master, something comes out that
will blow you head off. Thank you so much Dick and Dave for sticking
with your passion for making insanely cool guitars and allowing
me to dump pretty much my collection of guitars that dont
live up!

The
LeGrand_ very tasty! Plays like butter_ sounds fabulous! And its
damn QUIET!!! Very even response across the entire range of the
guitar, your fretwork is truly wonderful_ and the finish is super
sharp. As they say here in Maine - WICKED GOOD_ the jangel factor
is way more pronounced than a typical Strat_ and still has the
balls to clip the amp like a humbucker. I couldnt put it
down, and its definitely a serious value.

My
EP54 is without a doubt the finest bass Ive ever played.
The action on my bass is perfect and the sound is so versitile
and after just being in the studio the engineer was amazed at
how clean and the ease at obtaining the tone he wanted. I get
a lot of fellow bass players that come up and tell me how they
love the lacewood body and think the tone is amazing. Thanks to
Dave and all at U.S. Masters.

"Simply
wonderful! I just returned from a 2-1/2 hour rehersal and all
I want to do is play it some more. This bass is incredibly well
built, in spite of the fact that it costs only $1,049. It is constructed
as well as my old Alembic or Ken Smith basses, easily. In fact,
the neck shape reminds me of my old Alembic, and that was the
sweetest neck I've ever played (until now). the sound is pure
P-bass, which I totally dig. Every thing about this baby is top-notch,
right down to the shimmering oil-finished mahogany and spotless
fretboard. The fretwork is great as well. Nary a single dead spot
on the neck (howdya do that?) and the balance is good although
a teensy bit neck-heavy (not like my Smith though.) Light as a
feather, too. I should stop gushing; you'll think I am looking
for an endorsement deal! Kudos on a wonderful axe at a wonderful
price. Made in the USA too!"

Hi!
I tried one of your guitars at Naperville Music in Naperville,
IL and immediately knew that my next guitar will be one of yours.
Before I even played it I was attracted to the finish and craftsmanship,
and the neck joint struck me as being quite innovative. I was
surprised that the salesman let me play it when I asked because
I honestly thought it was in the dont touch
price range. In fact, after running my hand up and down the neck
a few seconds, I immediately threw my wish of getting a Tom Anderson
out of my mind and replaced it with a US Masters guitar. It honestly
felt a lot more solid to me than any Anderson Ive tried,
and sounded just as good. And after he told me the price, I was
sold.

This
guitar is a tonal GIANT. Don't get me wrong, my super T and legend
are in their own rite awesome........but. The body style of the
sportster fits my right hand like a glove, which allows me to
move up and down the picking zone for even more wonderful tones.
From sparkling, to raunchy, to dirty nasty..........you get the
picture. With my new synth engine, there's nothing that I hear
in my head I can't create. I'm inspired by this axe to play as
much as I can!
Thank You!

I
would like to take a minute to commend you on creating a superior
instrument. I have been playing exclusively American made Fender
basses for about six years, and never considered any other brands
until I was able to play one of your basses. It was the only U.S.
Masters bass that this particular store had in stock, and I purchased
it right away. I have always preferred passive electronics, and
until now, most companies have done their best to make this seem
like a prehistoric way of thinking. However, you have given me
hope that there are still luthiers out there who believe in the
evolution of truly great concepts.
