The workmanship, attention to detail, shape and feel of the neck -- all are first rate. The SFT feels and sounds as good as it's more expensive cousins. It's a serious guitar for serious players, so why is it so affordable? No frills - no fancy top, no fancy carves, and a simple satin urethane finish. It's the heart of a luxury guitar without the luxury finish.

Maple Neck - The hard maple neck allows us to use an ultra thin finish and still have a smooth, good feeling surface. Another advantage of maple is the sound. It adds attack and brightness without sacraficing the low end. The neck of the SFT is solid and feels "broken in", like you've been playing it for years. The fingerboard is unbound Pau Ferro, a very high grade of bolivian rosewood.

Interlocking Neck Joint - The neck isn't just glued in. This is a special neck joint developed by U.S. Masters to provide the best possible mechanical coupling between neck and body. It improves strength, structural integrity and sound quality.

Made in the USA - From raw wood to finished product - Completely made in our factory here in Middleton, WI, USA. We're not assembling necks and/or bodies made overseas and calling it USA made. No, this is real high-end craftsmanship, manufacturing
and attention to detail.

Pickups - The standard pickps are our custom DiMarzio Scorpions which have a big sound, clean attack, and very good string definition so your sound stays powerful, yet defined. And, the DiMarzio's are not all we offer. Please contact and we can help you choose from our V1, V2, EMG, or perhaps even other pickups. A P90 version is available as well as single pickup versions.
