U.S. Masters Acoustic Bridge System for Electric Guitar
There are several variations on control layout, depending upon the model of guitar and pickup setup and controls. Please contact us for more details concerning the particular U.S. Masters guitar you would like to add the Acoustic Bridge System to.

Tremolo Bridge:
The Acoustic Bridge System is also available with the Point Classic tremolo system.

The above image is a Sportster with a mahogany body and a spalted maple top, clear gloss finish and gold hardware. For magnetic pickups it is equipped with our Versatek pickup harness: two U.S. Masters V2 humbuckers with 5-way switching that provides a broad range of extremely usable sounds. This is controlled by the mag volume and mag tone controls and the 5-way lever switch. The Acoustic Bridge System is controlled by the acoustic volume control and the acoustic mid-boost switch. Switch 2 is a 3-position switch which allows you to quickly select between acoustic or magnetic sound sources, or both at once. The controls function as follows:

1- Acoustic Volume
Volume of the acoustic sound
2 - 3 Position Sound Source Toggle Switch
In the up position: the magnetic pickup signal is turned off and the acoustic is on; down position magnetic
pickup signal is on and acoustic off; middle position both electric and acoustic sounds are on
3 - Acoustic Mid Boost
Changes the tone contour of the acoustic sound boosting the upper mids
4 - Mag Volume
Master volume for the magnetic (electric) pickups
5 - Mag Tone
Tone for the magnetic pickups
6 - Acoustic Preamp Output
Operates in 3 different modes. When no jack is plugged into the mag output, both mag and acoustic signals appear at this output. If a mono (standard) guitar cables is used, both the acoustic and electric signals are blended together in a mono output. If a stereo cable is used the acoustic sound is on the ring and the electric sound on the tip of the stereo jack, so each may be amplified separately but only one (stereo) cable is plugged into the guitar. If a jack is plugged into the mag output, then the acoustic signal only appears at the acoustic preamp out and the acoustic and electric signals may then be amplified separately. Plugging into this jack turns on the 9 volt battery. It is best to unplug from this jack when the guitar is not in use to increase battery life. The acoustic preamp uses a 9 volt alkaline battery. The electric guitar circuitry does not use the battery at all.
7 - Mag Only Output
Provides magnetic pickup output before it goes to the acoustic preamp; plugging into this jack completely disconnects
the magnetic pickups from the acoustic preamp so that the magnetic and acoustic signals may be amplified separately
with no interaction between the two.

MIDI Controller Option
There is also an option for MIDI Controller output:
